DIATOKS-Ultra and DIATOKS-Plus mycotoxin sorbents are complexes of carefully selected components, their composition includes cell walls of yeast, tripolite, preconditioned sapropel, preconditioned calcium carbonate.

The mechanism of action of the preparations is based on the ability of their components to bind the mycotoxins contained in feeds through covalent and ionic bonds, thereby preventing them from being absorbed into the intestines of animals and birds.

Sapropel is the term used to denote finely-structured colloidal deposits usually found in water bodies and containing organic matter with an effective combination of macro- and microelements, vitamins, humic acids and biostimulators, as well as other physiologically active substances.

Preconditioned calcium carbonate is an environmentally safe powerful sorbent with high sorption properties.

Yeast cell walls* with a high content of mannan-oligosaccharides and β-D-glucans possess high adsorption, immunostimulating and prebiotic properties. The high adsorption capacity of yeast cell wall components ensures a high level of protection against mycotoxins and pathogens.

Tripolite** is a term used to denote natural zeolite (montmorillonite and clinoptilolite). Having a large active surface in the gastrointestinal tract, tripolite selectively adsorbs carbon dioxide, ammonia, methane, hydrogen sulphide, hydrocarbons, water, phenols, exo- and endotoxins, heavy metals, radionuclides, metabolic by-products of putrefactive microorganisms, etc.

APPLICATION

1 to 2 kg per tonne of feed, depending on the level of mycotoxins in the feed.

DIATOKS-Ultra and DIATOKS-Plus mycotoxin sorbents are added into fodder and feed mixtures with the use of existing mixing technologies. They are capable of withstanding the standard temperature processing of the feed.
