Enzymes are indispensable for removing fatty contaminants and protein substances containing protein (traces of blood, egg protein, milk). Proteolytic enzymes (proteases) effect enzymatic hydrolysis of large protein molecules and break them down into smaller amino acid residues, which are easily removed from the fibres during rinsing. Amylases break down starchy contaminants, lipases break down fatty contaminants, cellulose complexes have a "polishing" effect by way of removing and preventing the emergence of pills on clothing. Furthermore, the effectiveness of detergents containing enzymes depends on the temperature and pH value of the washing solution.
Amilzim, Proteazim, Liprozim are enzymatic supplementary agents based on unique enzyme complexes. They are used as components for household chemicals and detergents. Enzyme preparations facilitate the breakdown of starch, protein and fatty components of contaminants and easy removal of spots from the structure of various types of fabric.
AMILZIM is a liquid enzyme preparation, whose main component is α-amylase. The action of α-amylase is aimed at hydrolysis of 1,14-glycosidic bonds of starch, which breaks down into soluble dextrins and oligosaccharides.
