Methionine
Methionine promotes the deposition of fat in muscles; it is necessary for the formation of new organic compounds of choline (vitamin B4), creatine, adrenaline, niacin (vitamin B5), etc.
Deficiency of methionine in the diet leads to a decrease in the level of plasma proteins (albumins), causes anaemia (decreased blood haemoglobin level), simultaneous deficiency of vitamin E and selenium contributes to the development of muscular dystrophy. Insufficient amount of methionine in the diet causes a delay in the growth of young animals, loss of appetite, a decrease in productivity, an increase in feed costs, fatty degeneration of the liver, impaired renal function, anaemia and atrophy.
Excess amount methionine reduces nitrogen digestion, causes degenerative changes in the liver, kidneys, pancreas, increases the need for arginine, glycine. A significant excess of methionine causes an imbalance (disrupted balance of amino acids, which results from sharp deviations from the optimal ratio of essential amino acids in the diet), which is accompanied by a metabolic disturbance and inhibition of growth rate in young animals.
Cystine is a sulphur-containing amino acid, which is interchangeable with methionine; it participates in oxidation and reduction processes, metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and bile acids, promotes the formation of substances that neutralize intestinal poisons, activates insulin; together with tryptophan participates in the synthesis of bile acids, which are necessary for the absorption of digestive products of lipids from the intestine; participates in the synthesis of glutathione. Cystine has the ability to absorb ultraviolet rays. Deficiency of cystine causes liver cirrhosis, reduced feathering and feather growth rates in young animals, fragility and loss (plucking) of feathers in adult birds, as well as a decrease in resistance to infectious diseases.
L-Lysine Monohydrochloride 98.5% is a feed additive designed for the production of mixed feed and protein, vitamin and mineral supplements for farm animals, poultry and fish for the purpose of enriching the diet with a specific essential amino acid.
Biological properties
L-Lysine Monohydrochloride 98.5% feed additive is a source of lysine which catalyses enzymatic transformation processes. It participates in the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, reduces the content of triglycerides in blood serum. Lysine promotes the absorption of calcium, maintains the balance of nitrogen in the blood, participates in the production of hormones, antibodies and enzymes, promotes the formation of collagen and tissue regeneration, serves as a source of energy, stimulates the synthesis of proteins and nucleotides in the body, division of cells, growth and development of bones.
L-lysine is the first limiting amino acid in the diet of pigs and the second limiting amino acid in the diet of poultry.

L-Threonine
L-Threonine 98.5% is a feed additive designed for the production of mixed feed and protein, vitamin and mineral supplements for farm animals, poultry and fish for the purpose of enriching the diet with a specific essential amino acid.
Biological properties
L-Threonine 98.5% feed additive participates in protein metabolism and energy processes. Threonine is a part of many proteins in the body of animals and promotes the assimilation of other amino acids, formation of collagen and tissue regeneration. Participates in the synthesis of immunoglobulins, enzymes, mucin and other substances in the body.
Deficiency of threonine in the diet of animals, birds and fish causes a decrease in feed intake rates. As a consequence, it results in poor nutritional status and atrophy. It also causes disruptions in the function of the gastrointestinal tract, the immune system, and other organs and tissues.
L-Threonine 98.5% feed additive is designed for the purpose of enriching the diet of animal and birds with threonine.

Note: exposure to stress factors, high fibre content in feed, periods of vaccinations and animal diseases necessitate an increase in the recommended dose of threonine by 5%.
