Sheep farming and goat farming, both being traditional industries, have great socio-economic importance for the whole world. The growth rates of sheep livestock and the improvement in the quality of sheep products are ensured through selective breeding activities, feeding technologies, therapeutic and preventive measures against diseases. But despite the high rates of development and innovation, many problems remain relevant for the industry.

FEEDING OPTIMIZATION – OPTIMIZATION OF RUMEN FUNCTION
Optimization of feeding of young sheep and goats
Adding of FEKORD enzyme feed additive into regenerated milk and milk replacer for lambs and goatlings during preweaning period ensures a 28.4% increase in their average daily growth compared to control group with a simultaneous decrease in feed costs by 14.5%.
Administration of this additive to young sheep and goats (adding to mixed feeds) ensures an increase in the average daily growth in animals by 8.6 to 12.4%.
Optimization of feeding of production animals
The introduction of FEKORD additives into the diet of adult production animals ensures an increase in the availability of dry matter by 4.2 to 8.3%, organic matter – by 3.2 to 4.1%, crude proteins – by 3.8 to 5.4%, crude fats – by 2.9 to 7.6%, crude fibres – by 42.1 to 47.6%; increase in the productivity by 6.2 to 9.2%; reduction of production costs by 6.8 to 12.4%; increase in livestock survivability by 37.8 to 42.4%, reduction of feed costs per unit of manufactured products by 7.8 to 10.1%; increase in production profitability by 7.4 to 14.7%.
